About QTS
Qatar Tamizhar Sangam (QTS) is a socio-cultural organisation established on 12th December 2000 to cultivate and propagate Tamil Culture, History and Heritage amongst the expatriate Tamil speaking Indian community residing in Qatar.
QTS is an Associate Organisation of Indian Cultural Center under the aegis of Embassy of India, State of Qatar. QTS is a non-profit and service-oriented organisation mainly focused on noble activities such as social services, benevolent activities, working on humanitarian causes for the mankind, lending a helping hand to people in distress and the under-privileged.
Objectives
Promote the rich history, culture, literature and heritage of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu to the Tamil community residing in Qatar
Promote ancient arts, music, dance and sports of Tamil Nadu
Promote benevolent activities, humanitarian causes and lend helping hand to the under-privileged and people in distress
Provide a forum for Members and their families to showcase their cultural talents
Support cultural and benevolent activities of Indian Embassy, ICC and ICBF.
